Flowella Fit System U.S. Sizing

Performance starts with the right fit

Size Guide

Find a fit that supports movement without distraction. This guide brings together body measurements, garment intent, compression levels, and category-specific recommendations for Flowella performance apparel.

01

Measure close to the body over lightweight clothing. Keep the tape level, relaxed, and comfortably fitted without pulling it tight.

Designed around movement

Fit, Refined

Flowella sizing is designed around real movement rather than a static silhouette. Each product category balances support, flexibility, coverage, and layering space differently.

01

Body First

Begin with your current body measurements rather than the size printed on another brand. Construction, stretch, and intended compression can vary significantly between garments.

02

Movement Matters

Consider how you plan to wear the piece. High-intensity training may call for closer support, while commuting, recovery, and layering often benefit from a more relaxed fit.

03

Fabric Changes Fit

Stretch performance fabrics naturally contour the body. Weatherproof, insulated, and structured layers provide less stretch and may require additional room through the chest, shoulders, or hips.

04

Between Sizes

Choose the smaller size for a more sculpted, compressed feel. Choose the larger size for easier movement, softer shaping, or additional layering room.

Use a soft measuring tape

Measure Correctly

Stand naturally, keep your posture relaxed, and measure directly around the body. For the most useful result, record each measurement in both inches and centimeters before comparing it with the charts.

01

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape horizontal across your back and allow enough room to breathe normally.

02

Underbust

Measure directly beneath the bust around the ribcage. Keep the tape secure and level without compressing your skin.

03

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of your torso. Avoid holding your breath or pulling the tape tight.

04

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest point of your hips and seat, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

05

Inseam

Measure from the top of the inner thigh down to the desired hem point. Use a well-fitting pair of pants as a reference when needed.

06

Torso

For one-piece or longline styles, measure from the top of one shoulder, through the legs, and back to the same shoulder point.

Fit Tip

Recheck measurements after major training, body composition, or seasonal layering changes.

Do Not Pull Tight

A compressed tape can lead to choosing a size that feels restrictive.

Measure Twice

Repeat each measurement to confirm accuracy before selecting a size.

Use Product Intent

Compression and layering needs should guide your final decision.

Understand the wearing experience

Fit Scale

Flowella garments are designed with different levels of body contact. Use this scale to understand how a piece may feel before you move, train, travel, or layer.

01

Relaxed

Easy through the body with extra room for airflow, casual movement, recovery, or layering. Common in selected joggers and outerwear.

02

Regular

Follows the body without significant compression. Designed for versatile movement, daily wear, and balanced comfort.

03

Fitted

Close to the body with flexible shaping and secure movement. Common in performance tops, tanks, shorts, and everyday leggings.

04

Compressed

Sculpted and supportive with noticeable hold. Designed for high-output training, controlled movement, and reduced garment shifting.

Category-specific guidance

Product Fit

Every Flowella category has a different performance purpose. Use these notes together with your measurements to choose the most appropriate size and wearing experience.

01

Performance Tops

Designed for mobility through the shoulders and torso while remaining streamlined during movement.

  • Use bust as your primary measurement.
  • Size up for a relaxed training silhouette.
  • Check sleeve and torso length preferences.
02

Sports Bras

Support depends on a stable underband, complete coverage, and straps that remain secure without digging.

  • Compare bust and underbust measurements.
  • The underband should feel secure and level.
  • Size up if cup coverage feels compressed.
03

Training Tank Tops

Built to move freely through the arms and shoulders while maintaining clean coverage through the torso.

  • Choose by bust and preferred body fit.
  • Consider armhole depth and bra coverage.
  • Size down only for a closer studio fit.
04

Performance Leggings

Designed to contour the waist, hips, and legs while supporting a stable, distraction-free range of motion.

  • Use hip measurement as the main reference.
  • Waistband should sit flat without rolling.
  • Size up for softer compression and easier entry.
05

Training Shorts

Fit should remain secure through dynamic movement without restricting the thighs, seat, or hip flexors.

  • Compare waist, hip, and thigh comfort.
  • Consider preferred rise and inseam length.
  • Size up for a roomier leg opening.
06

Weatherproof Jackets

Structured shells require enough space through the shoulders and chest for movement and optional layering.

  • Measure over the layers you plan to wear.
  • Check shoulder mobility and sleeve reach.
  • Size up for midweight or insulated layers.
07

Thermal Layers

Thermal and insulated pieces work best when they sit close enough to retain warmth without limiting movement.

  • Choose regular size for base-layer use.
  • Size up when worn over another top.
  • Avoid excessive compression around the chest.
08

Performance Joggers

Designed with controlled ease through the hips and thighs and a tapered shape toward the ankle.

  • Use waist and hip measurements together.
  • Choose larger for a relaxed seat and thigh.
  • Review inseam for preferred ankle position.
09

Performance Sets

Coordinated sets should feel balanced across both pieces, even when your upper and lower body measurements fall into different sizes.

  • Check both top and bottom measurements.
  • Prioritize the more fitted component.
  • Choose comfort over matching size labels.

When measurements differ

Choose Confidently

Bodies are not standardized. When your measurements span multiple sizes, use the garment’s purpose and your preferred wearing experience to make the final decision.

01

Bust and Waist Differ

For tops, bras, and jackets, prioritize the bust and shoulder area. A slightly roomier waist is usually more comfortable than restricted breathing or limited upper-body movement.

02

Waist and Hips Differ

For leggings, shorts, and joggers, prioritize your hip measurement. The waistband should remain secure, but the fabric should not become overstretched through the seat or thighs.

03

You Prefer Compression

Select the smaller size only when the fabric is designed for compression and your measurements remain within the stated range. Compression should feel supportive, never painful or restrictive.

04

You Plan to Layer

Choose additional room in jackets, insulated layers, and joggers when wearing base layers underneath. Measure while wearing a similar layer combination for a more realistic result.

05

You Want Everyday Ease

Choose the larger size for commuting, travel, recovery, or all-day wear. This provides softer shaping and additional movement without changing the intended performance character.

Sizing assistance

Fit Questions

Review the most common sizing questions before selecting your Flowella performance apparel.

What should I do when I am between two sizes?

Choose the smaller size for a closer, more compressed fit. Choose the larger size for additional comfort, softer shaping, or layering room. For fitted bottoms, use your hip measurement as the deciding reference.

Should sports bras feel tighter than regular tops?

A sports bra should feel secure through the underband and stable during movement, but it should not restrict breathing or create painful pressure. The band should remain level and the cup area should provide full coverage.

How should performance leggings fit at the waist?

The waistband should sit flat and remain secure through squats, running, stretching, and everyday movement. It should not roll, slide, create numbness, or require constant adjustment.

Should I size up in weatherproof jackets?

Choose your regular size for a streamlined fit over a lightweight top. Size up when you plan to wear thermal, fleece, or insulated layers underneath, especially if you prefer more shoulder mobility.

How do I choose a size for a performance set?

Compare the upper-body and lower-body charts separately. When one piece is designed with more compression, prioritize comfort in that component. Your ideal top and bottom size may not always be identical.

Can fabric stretch change the size I should choose?

Yes. High-stretch performance fabrics may feel closer while still allowing full movement. Structured shells, insulated fabrics, and weatherproof materials stretch less and may require additional room.

How often should I remeasure myself?

Remeasure whenever your body composition, training routine, or layering needs change. Measuring again before purchasing a new category can also improve accuracy because each product type fits differently.
